A lot of people were excited when they heard there were rumors about Lil Boosie new album 2009 called “Superbad The Return of Boosie Bad Azz.” Most artists only come out with one album per year, but Boosie has impressed the entire scene with his grind and persistence as a rapper. Most people thought that the album was straight up fire and the reviews were overwhelmingly positive. That album featured banging production from producers like Mouse.

The album starts with songs like “Top Notch” and “My Avenue.” It then moves into hard hitting songs like “I’m A Dog,” “Loose As A Goose,” “Mind of a Maniac,” and “Better Believe It.” It offers something from people of all demographics and taste that enjoy real street and gangsta music sound. Other tracks like “Nobody” featuring Bobby Valentino are softer, but are crafted to the highest quality. Artists that are featured include many people that you have heard from before on prior Bad Azz projects, but there are some newcomers as well. Lil Boosie – Nobody (Bobby Valentino) [prod. Nard and B]

The song by Lil Boosie called Nobody is included on his 2009 album Superbad: The Return of Boosie Bad Azz. You should know that there is a guest appearance from the highly talented R&B singer Bobby Valentino. In case you don’t know from watching the Lil Boosie interview that he did with 50 Cent, he likes to listen to a lot of R&B type music. The reason that he hooked up with Bobby was because he knows how talented he is at making hit songs and writing great choruses. If you take a listen to this track, you will be able to tell that it is a classic.

Both artists display great chemistry on this song and they succeeded in making a hit. Some of the album contains more street sounding tracks, while it is songs like Nobody, officially titled “Who Can Love U?” that play off of the authentic human emotion of love and a bond during relationships. The verses from Lil Boosie are great as he talks about what he does when he makes love to his woman. The instrumental that accompanies the professional singing from Bobby V and crazy lines from Boosie is also nothing short of sounding perfect.

This song was produced by the duo Nard and B; in case you don’t know much about them, they have made hits for many artists including T.I., Young Dro, and Big Kuntry. The people from Louisiana were especially digging the soul felt on this track. If you are trying to figure out some music to add to a playlist for couples that are in love, then this track “Nobody (Who Can Love You)” is essential to add to the mix. The chorus asks, “Who gon do you like me? Who gon kiss you like me? and Who gon freak you like me?”

The answer to all of the questions asked on the chorus is (of course) “nobody.” Even though there are other songs for the ladies that Boosie has done in the past, this is clearly one of his best. The other track that is very appealing to his female audience is the one called “Miss Kissin On You” featuring Trina and KaDe. The lineup of talent that he is able to get for his songs is impressive and is likely one major reason why his fan base continues to expand. If you haven’t heard the song “Nobody” then check it out on the video player above.

Lil Boosie – Independent Video [Webbie & Lil Phat]

The track “Independent” by Webbie, Lil Boosie, and Lil Phat was featured on Webbie’s Savage Life 2 album that came out in 2008. A lot of places list the title of the song as I-N-D-E-P-E-N-D-E-N-T since the chorus spells it out for the listeners. The chemistry demonstrated by the artists on this track is great, and helped the song become among the best hip hop and rap songs of the year. The album that it is on is great from start to finish even though it isn’t Boosies. There are many other places that you can find this song too, including the unofficial project with various artists called Down South Slangin Volume 44.

In order to get the authentic song and official version, you always should get the music directly from a trusted retailer like rhapsody, iTunes, or get a physical hard copy of the CD in stores. Since this anthem became so successful, they decided to make a music video which features a lot of women being “Independent.” A lot of artists these days say a lot of derogatory things about females and this track does the exact opposite of that. There are many women that are not dependent on their man for money and security; this track is a tribute to them.

If you listen to the chorus, they talk about women that have their own house and own car; “she got her own house, she got her own car.” Perhaps one of the best lines in the song came from Lil Boosie when he said, “try to get next to her,  gotta be yourself mane, cuz she got her own money she don’t need no help mane.” This track is one of the most perfect cuts because it explains what men and women are looking for in relationships; independence and confidence.

Nobody wants to go out with someone that isn’t able to fend for themselves and is dependent on another for everything. There is a crazy Independent music video that goes along with the track as well. If you have not yet had the chance to see it, you can take a look at it above and check out what it is going to take for independence. In addition to the great track and music video, the production is impeccable; the bass really pounds hard through a good set of speakers. If you’re looking for hot verses that are accompanied by great production, this is one track that should not be passed up.
