Lil Boosie – Swerve On ‘Em (Webbie)

The Lil Boosie song called “Swerve” features Webbie and is off of the album Gangsta Musik. The track has also been called “Swerve On Em” by many fans and is regarded as a hood classic. He talks about swervin right, swervin left, and the entire concept of the track within the song. If you are from Louisiana, you know exactly how easily that this track gets you ready to hop up and dance. The instrumental was one of his best produced early tracks. At one concert, he even said something along the lines of let’s take it back to the days when I didn’t have jewelry on before performing this track.

In case you didn’t get the memo, he has been grinding hard making good music that people can dance to for a long time. The track “Swerve On Em” is a perfect example of a song that he did with Webbie before they reached superstar status. If you have all of the mixtapes that he has done, then you would know that he also has released a “Swerve 2” track that you can check out as well. As you probably already know the entire Jigga City of Baton Rouge knows how to swerve thanks to Boosie.

Word is that he loves to perform a lot of his old music at concerts to take it back. If you didn’t already know based on hearing tracks like “I Remember,” he always reflects on emotional past experiences and conveys them through his music. Many people think that it would have been cool for him to have put out a music video for the track “Swerve On Em.” However, at the time when the song had originally been released on an album in 2005, other tracks were being more heavily promoted like “Give Me That.”

Lil Boosie – We Out Chea (Video) [Bad Azz Entertainment]

The Lil BoosieWe Out Chea video” was one of the realest videos ever made by Boosie. He goes to the hood and rounds up his dogs to shoot the video for one of his biggest street singles ever. In case you weren’t aware, this music video features the Trill Entertainment and Bad Azz entertainment crew. The boys are wearing all black everything in this one: black t-shirts, black jeans, and black bandanas. There are plenty of guns being waved around in this video to show how Boosie had to protect himself from others trying to take him down on the streets of south Baton Rouge.

One guy even holds up the W. Garfield Street 900 street sign in the video at the one minute fifty-one second mark. It is shown more times throughout the video, so keep looking if you missed it the first time through or just re-watch the video. If you are familiar with other videos by Lil Boosie, then you have probably seen several of these faces before and have heard from most of the other rap artists. All the homies came out on the block to show him love for this video shoot, so make sure you check it out.

If you are from the area, then you probably know exactly what he means when he says “We Out Chea.” For those that do not understand what he is making reference to in this song, he is basically trying to tell people that he’s not afraid to live his life and represent where he came from. Him and his street family are always going to be out there and doing their thing. This is definitely one of the most gangsta rap videos that has ever been released on the internet, but what else would you expect from Boosie?

Lil Boosie – We Out Chea Video

The video came out in 2009 and was easily one of the best to come out that year. Now that people are looking for new Lil Boosie in 2010 while he is locked up, these videos are going to keep his buzz going while he is in jail. When you are a good artist, your buzz never dies, and when it comes to Boosie he is always going to stay strong in the south – especially in Louisiana; everybody loves him and his music. If you haven’t had the chance to peep the video, give it a play above and see what’s up with Torrence Hatch out on West Garfield Street.
