Lil Boosie – Touchdown To Cause Hell (Video)

If you know the artist Lil Boosie, then you know the song “Touchdown To Cause Hell” is an instant classic. Even though the song is fairly short, he gets his message across over the very eerie instrumental that fits his style perfectly. This entire song is about how the things that he has made it through made him even stronger and harder in the streets. He talks about all the things that you would know about if you were from the streets. This track made a statement the minute that it came out: don’t mess with Boosie because he don’t play around.

He addresses the fact that he lost his father figure at a young age and asks the listener what they would do if they were in the same situation. Not to mention the people that hated on him made things even more difficult. He does not hesitate to say things like “I cut ya throat, take ya house, that’s that Soulja Slim talk.” The chorus on this track is self-explanatory – he touches down to cause hell when he needs to, plain and simple. Other lyrics like “And I told myself I wasn’t going to go to jail but I lied, now my mama on her knees and she cryin” are just straight up real.

There was a music video that was created for the Touch Down To Cause Hell track, which was definitely needed. The entire video was shot in the hood (West Garfield Street stand up) that he came from in Baton Rouge Louisiana. They love him because he made it and he sets a good example by giving back. He’s got all his friends in the video (many of whom are in other videos with him as well).

The thing that a lot of people like about this video is that he’s got a lot of the kids in there. Lil Boosie loves the children and always tries to help them out. This is one of the coldest underground tracks to have been released on the Lil Boosie mixtapes scene. So will you be able to find this joint on any albums? Nope – but you can find it on some of his mixtapes, including the Lil Boosie Bad Azz a.k.a. Hollywood Hatchet mixtape that came out with DJ Rell. Most fans probably have had this track in their collection for awhile now.

Lil Boosie – Flossin (Counting Money)

As you already probably know, back in the day Lil Boosie was flossin in the hood for the people to see. The footage was gotten by Thug Play and shows him counting money (all hundreds). As you can see if you watch the video, he has a lot of 100 dollar bills and there aren’t any fifty dollar bills. He walks around with a lot of cash because he is always on the grind and getting what he needs to live the lifestyle that he wants. This video is an example of him showing the haters and naysayers that he is real.

If you were able to check out his Grimmie Wreck Show back in 2006, then you would know he was walking around there with about a couple hundred thousand dollars in his pockets. When he says that he is getting money and continues to get it, he is not lying. In the video below he makes some jokes about the money and talks about what he has bought with his money including: his iced out Jacob watch (that he paid $20,000 dollars for), his necklaces that he is wearing, and swimming in the money.

Near the end of the video, he brings his kids out and jokes about Tootie Bad Azz being the first four year old to rap. Some of the commentary is hilarious like “I hope you got minutes on that camera son, cuz we getting money.” He shouts out to his mama and says “you better tell em how I’m rocking.” About half way through him counting the bills and laying them out on the street, he stops and says “my hand getting tired man.” After that, he lays down on the money and says “I be swimming in a pool of hundreds.”

He has his little kid tell the camera where they are from (across the tracks) and they have fun with this footage. You can get more crazy footage of the Bad Azz if you check out some of the Lil Boosie DVD’s and movies that have been put out. If you are a fan, it is always cool to see the artist just chillin out having a good time hanging with some of his family and friends. This video is strictly for those who want to see some real flossin and hear some hilarious jokes; check it out and see what’s good.

Is Lil Boosie Dead? (Rumors)

Back in 2008 there was a false rumor that was started by popular internet websites that claimed rapper Lil Boosie dead. The fact is that this could not be further from the truth and it was very misleading when it was released. It seems as though whenever someone becomes popular, people invent fake stories in order to get people more news. People are naturally addicted to new information, which is why most people seek out to stay up to date with the latest news. The rumors about Boosie cannot be traced to one particular website because once they start, a bunch of sites publish the same information over and over again.

Many claim that the rumors about Lil Boosie dead from getting shot started on MySpace, but others are saying that it was various gossip sites around the net. Wherever it started, it is not true and is not something that should be spread any further. If you got a notification online about this story, do some research on your own and examine what you know to be factual information. Since he has released mixtapes as well as albums after the alleged “death” date and put out new music videos, you know that he is doing fine.

You may have heard about Lil Boosie shot at and this is allegedly true, but he comes from a very harsh street environment. People know that the south side of Baton Rouge, Louisiana has a lot of drug dealers and cold-blooded individuals. If you have taken the time to listen to Lil Boosie music, then you know what he speaks is the truth. He doesn’t tell lies or make up rumors; he tells people what they need to hear through his own personal self expression. He has been grinding hard on the scene for many years.

What would provoke someone to make up a lie with a headline like “Is Lil Boosie Dead?” Well most places just want their story to sound interesting and be new. But think about it from the perspective of an artist, would you want someone spreading false rumors about you? Not at all! Especially false rumors about your death – something that most people do not want to talk about. Do not get caught up in the falsified information that has been spread across the internet. There are new stories and rumors that are put out to people every day. People need to take more responsibility for the information that they digest and believe with certainty to be true.
