Lil Boosie – A Bay Bay (Ratchet Remix) [Hurricane Chris, The Game, Birdman, E-40, Angie Locc, Jadakiss]

There are many versions of the song A Bay Bay by Hurricane Chris. On the official A Bay Bay Ratchet Remix, an all star cast lyrically shredded this instrumental. As you already know, Hurricane Chris did it real big with this track, but when he recruited the likes of Lil Boosie, The Game, Birdman, E-40, Angie Locc (of Lava House Records), and Jadakiss, he took his game to the next level. If you copped his 51/50 album, then you would know that the original track was from that project.

This track spread like wildfire across the country when it was first featured on hip hop radio stations. The reason that Hurricane Chris called up Lil Boosie Bad Azz for the remix is because they are both from Louisiana and know what it’s like down south. The other artists are mostly just because they wanted to extend the remix and get a full cast of talent. This song samples a song called “Forget What Ya Heard” by MC Ren. The original music video for the non-remix was done right in the Cedar Grove neighborhood with a lot of locals.

There were other remixes to this song done by the likes of Pitbull, Chingo Bling, and Big Kuntry King, but they are not official. If you watch the music video to the official Ratchet Remix of A Bay Bay, you will see not only the artists that are listed on the track, but you will also get to see a couple appearances from Pitbull and Lil Jon in the background, some people have claimed that Sheek Louch (of D-Block) also showed up to appear in the video with Jadakiss; he is only shown in white for about a second though. Make sure to go out and cop this track because it costs less than one dollar and you get over seven minutes of dope music (a great value for the low price).

Hurricane Chris – A Bay Bay (Ratchet Remix) [Music Video] – The Game, Lil Boosie, E-40, Birdman, Angie Locc, Jadakiss

A lot of people like to spell the track “Ay Bay Bay,” but the official spelling does not have the letter “y” after that of “a.” In case you don’t already know, there was an official mixtape released in 2009 by both Hurricane Chris and Lil Boosie called “Category 7: A Bad Azz Hurricane.” If you are a fan of these artists, then consider this tape a must-have; it is among the best releases prior to 2010.

Lil Boosie – Thug Passion

The song Thug Passion by Lil Boosie is definitely a standout track from his project entitled “Thug Passion The Mixtape.” A lot of people consider this project (that was released on Bad Azz Entertainment) to be more like a street album than a mixtape. With that said, most of his tapes are so good that you may think that they are good enough to be albums. If you own a copy of this project (which can be gotten through online digital music retailers), then you know it sounds great. As soon as it was put out, this tape made a huge impression on the hip hop community.

If you have the mixtape Southside Don Dada: Starring Lil Boosie then you should know that “Thug Passion” also was featured on that. That particular project was presented by Mixtape Mike and DJ Rell. No matter where you heard this song it is going to sound dope. To make sure that you get optimal sound quality, make sure that you got this track or tape from an authentic, legitimate source. A lot of people these days get a distorted or altered version of music because it leaks and they are inpatient. Unless you got it from Bad Azz Ent, Trill Ent, or an artist on the label, or a source that they recommended, you may not have gotten the right version.

Although a lot of people associate “Thug Passion” with the legendary artist Tupac Shakur, many hardcore rap fans have made comparisons to Lil Boosie and 2Pac due to the fact that they are both true to themselves in all situations and talented. Each artist is legendary in their own right, and it is clear that each have established a widespread fan base. Both were appreciative of their support and made some moves that were considered controversial at one point.

Lil Boosie – Thug Passion (Listen)

Do you want to listen to the song Thug Passion or the mixtape? If you do, then you can check out the player above and see whether you are feeling it as much as everybody else. For those that may have not had the opportunity to listen to this yet, you will be in for a treat. Even though it isn’t featured on an album, the track was phenomenal. Louisiana is very proud to have such a great representative making music about the hood and keeping it one hundred percent real twenty four hours a day, seven days a week, three sixty five days of the year.
