Lil Boosie – Louisianimal (Lil Wayne) [Rumors]

The song “Louisianimal” was a track that surfaced by Lil Wayne on the mixtape “The Drought Is Over 6” that was put out by The Empire. It is a direct 50 Cent diss song where Wayne says that he is going to “pour syrup in that vitamin water.” A lot of people don’t know where this track came from. The truth is that Lil Wayne recorded it and initially intended for it to stay in the vaults of his unreleased material, but someone leaked it without his permission. In case you don’t know, the tape that it came out on features a lot of other unreleased material. A lot of people got excited and started to talk about the fact that the chorus featured Lil Boosie Bad Azz because these two artists haven’t really done a lot of work together even though they are from the same state of Louisiana.

If you listen closely, is it a sample of Lil Boosie or just Lil Wayne? Can you tell who is on the chorus for sure? (The real fans of Boosie should be able to tell). After hearing raps from both artists, it should be relatively easy to determine if you listen closely. Each artist has stayed in their own lane and continued to get money; they are from different cities in case you didn’t know. Lil Boosie represents all the people from Baton Rouge (Jigga City) and is constantly reppin W Garfield St.

Many people still like to compare the skill and talent between the two artists. When it comes to Lil Boosie music though, it’s not really about competition because he focuses on talking about his life and his environment. One DJ blended both Wayne and Boosie together for a mixtape called “Battle of the Bayou” which has become very popular on the internet. The two artists did not get together and put this together (a lot of people thought that they did). Just because the cover art looks crazy and the tracks are fire, doesn’t always mean that it’s official.

Lil Wayne – Louisianimal (50 Cent Diss) [Hurricane Chris]

So who is on the chorus of the Louisianimal song if it’s not Lil Boosie? Here’s a hint, it’s another artist from the state of Louisiana and it is not a guest appearance, it’s just a sound bite. The answer is that it is actually Hurricane Chris on there, an artist that Boosie has worked with. Many people say that they sound similar on the Bad Azz Hurricane mixtape, but if you have listened to both artists you can tell that they each have their own style and a completely unique voice.

Lil Boosie – Flossin (Counting Money)

As you already probably know, back in the day Lil Boosie was flossin in the hood for the people to see. The footage was gotten by Thug Play and shows him counting money (all hundreds). As you can see if you watch the video, he has a lot of 100 dollar bills and there aren’t any fifty dollar bills. He walks around with a lot of cash because he is always on the grind and getting what he needs to live the lifestyle that he wants. This video is an example of him showing the haters and naysayers that he is real.

If you were able to check out his Grimmie Wreck Show back in 2006, then you would know he was walking around there with about a couple hundred thousand dollars in his pockets. When he says that he is getting money and continues to get it, he is not lying. In the video below he makes some jokes about the money and talks about what he has bought with his money including: his iced out Jacob watch (that he paid $20,000 dollars for), his necklaces that he is wearing, and swimming in the money.

Near the end of the video, he brings his kids out and jokes about Tootie Bad Azz being the first four year old to rap. Some of the commentary is hilarious like “I hope you got minutes on that camera son, cuz we getting money.” He shouts out to his mama and says “you better tell em how I’m rocking.” About half way through him counting the bills and laying them out on the street, he stops and says “my hand getting tired man.” After that, he lays down on the money and says “I be swimming in a pool of hundreds.”

Lil Boosie Flossin (Counting Money) [Video]

He has his little kid tell the camera where they are from (across the tracks) and they have fun with this footage. You can get more crazy footage of the Bad Azz if you check out some of the Lil Boosie DVD’s and movies that have been put out. If you are a fan, it is always cool to see the artist just chillin out having a good time hanging with some of his family and friends. This video is strictly for those who want to see some real flossin and hear some hilarious jokes; check it out and see what’s good.

Lil Boosie – Look At Me Now (Big Head)

One of the best tracks that does not happen to be very well known by Lil Boosie unless you are a big fan is called “Look At Me Now.” This track features a guest appearance from the artist Big Head. The two go in over some production that is off the chain. A lot of people originally thought that this cut was going to make the Trill Family album, but it was scrapped from the track listing. In the first verse, you already know that Boosie goes in and goes hard. He talks about rocking shows and shocking the world by getting money and staying on the grind. As you already know, he talks about a lot about his life and what has transpired in the past; nothing but the realest music.

The chorus features both Lil Boosie and Big Head going in and speaking the truth. They talk about how when someone makes it to the top and gets money, a lot of their old friends get mad at their success and start to hate. They contrast it with the fact that when they were dead broke, nobody was mad at them and no one will continue to stay mad. You may be able to relate, especially if you came from nothing and made yourself into something. People that work hard and succeed sometimes get scrutinized for the fact that they put forth the effort to take their career and life to the next level.

Are you the type of person that gets jealous or envies another person when they make it? Anyways, this is something to think about if you haven’t already. The second verse in the track “Look At Me Now” is laid by Big Head and he talks about doing it real big and living a lifestyle that most people cannot handle; he is bragging about what he has done and what he has. Following his verse is the final verse from Lil Boosie where more of the truth is spoken. He talks about going from having nothing (bottle chains) to diamond rings.

Lil Boosie & Big Head – Look At Me Now (Listen)

He sums up what it means to go from having nothing to having everything that he wanted. If you have never had the opportunity to bump this track and don’t have it on a Lil Boosie mixtape, you can check out the video player above and see what you think. The song “Look At Me Now” is one of the illest tracks all the way through, it doesn’t get much realer than this stuff.
