In September of 2009, Lil Boosie released an official video for his song “I’m A Dog” featuring Lil Phat off of his “SuperBad – The Return of Boosie Bad Azz” album, which was released through Trill Entertainment. Anyways, the video was directed by Mr. Boomtown, who frequently directs videos for other artists like Gucci Mane. The producer of the video was Jaime Clark, while the editor was Donny Hall. The video showcases Boosie in the hood with a bunch of his homies and a few top of the line women. Even though the video was shot in black and white, it looks very well done.

This is one of the best songs that is featured on his 2009 album because the beat pounds, the lyrics are on point, and Boosie straight up kills it. There is a guest appearance from an affiliated artist who goes by the stage-name of Lil Phat. As usual, you already know that Lil Boosie is going to stay fully iced out. Not only that, but he has some absolutely crazy rhymes like: “I knock ya out, smoke a blunt, shoot a movie” and “I got the streets on lock, I got these hoes pussy wet, after the shows I’m like next next next next (next next next)” and “smoking on that purple call me ninja turtle.”

The chorus (hook) of this track is: “I’m a dog, I’m a muthaf**kin dog / I make that gangsta sh*t like set it off / I’m bout my money nothin funny bout my paper chasing movement / left my show got my dough all about my cash flow.” This song is a tribute to his experiences as a hustler and his motivation to make more money. He turns to the streets to shoot his video and the fan response has been positive; most seem to like the direction that he went with this one.

Lil Boosie – I’m A Dog f. Lil Phat (Official Video)

There are many lines that are very catchy in this track such as: “I spit that hot sauce that jalapeno pepper, I’m bout my money nigga, f**k what they tell ya.” If you have not had the chance to view the full official video, then be sure to play it above and see whether you dig it. The people clearly love to see Boosie boo in new videos for his songs and this is no exception. He always shakes the game up with some real street music for people to enjoy. This is a classic track and one heck of a video to go along with it.
