The track “Wipe Me Down” by Lil Boosie, Foxx, and Webbie is arguably the most successful mainstream track to be released through Trill Entertainment. First of all, the production on the track is amazing, and was done by none other than the go-to producer in the Trill Ent camp, Mouse. Originally, a lot of people thought that the song was by Boosie, but he only appears on the remix. The official track was done by Foxx, but a remix was quickly created and became very popular featuring the Bad Azz and Webbie – who both helped write the track. This joint was released in 2007, and gained a lot of popularity quickly after hitting hip hop radio stations.

The Wipe Me Down Remix was the official first single from the Trill Entertainment Presents: Survival of the Fittest album. This project was deemed a compilation project due to the fact that it features Foxx, Boosie, Webbie, and 3 Deep who released the track “Watch My Shoes.” It also features Lil Phat, Mouse, Big Head, Shell, and Soulja Boy (a different rapper than the one who released “Crank Dat”). In case you were wondering, there was a second remix to this song that was released featuring Pimp C and Bun B in replace of Boosie and Webbie.

There were also several unofficial mixtape remixes, including the New York “Wipe Me Down Remix” featuring Fat Joe, Jadakiss, and Jim Jones; the chorus is modified in this one. Trae, Trina, and B.G. released their own versions of this joint as well. Similarly, Chamillionaire selected this instrumental for the song “It’s On” that was put on his Mixtape Messiah 3. When a track becomes as popular as this one did by Foxx, B-o-o-s-i-e, and Webbie, you know that people are going to keep trying to do their own remixes.

Foxx – Wipe Me Down Remix f. Lil Boosie & Webbie (prod. Mouse)

The lyrics to Wipe Me Down are highly catchy and very addicting, especially the chorus. Although the hook keeps repeating “shoulders chest pants shoes, wipe me down,” it is incredible. When this song was originally released, the clubs were going crazy, and there were an overwhelming number of radio requests for this song to be played. There was also a dance that went along with this track, but it was pretty self explanatory. What is the whole point of wiping someone down? Well, wiping somebody down is done because they are so fresh, clean, and wearing some new gear. If you listen to a lot of Lil Boosie, you know what he means with this track.
